Sudan DDR Partners Summit

CTV has been appointed by the Sudan DDR Commission to organise a London-based fund-raising event in October 2012. The Summit will provide a showcase for both parties and their global partners to highlight the progress to date of the DDR mechanism put in place following the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 9th January 2005.

Implementing an agreed strategy for the event, CTV is responsible for all logistical management and organisation of the Summit, and will ensure that it takes place to an invited audience of current donor agencies and partners, and key prospective donor parties of the public and private sector.

The Summit provides an opportunity for potential partners of Sudan, to have unequivocal access to senior figures of the Sudan Government and UN Agencies, allowing them insight into the development requirements in order to ensure the positive progression of the SDRR activities, and the continued building of the economy and society.
